Good News!
Northshore Missions dollars are having a wonderful impact in a country that is so dangerous for Christians, that it cannot be named on the internet or in widespread distribution. Terrible things are happening in this country, but God’s Word is spreading and changing lives. Seventeen church planters in this country were trained in 2008 thanks to Northshore’s giving. Each new church will reach hundreds with God’s Word. As churches are planted and new Christians are discipled, we can expect to make an eternal difference in countless lives.

Bible League provides the Scriptures that people around the world need and makes sure those Scriptures are used for evangelism, discipleship, and church growth. That’s what makes Bible League unique.

Bible League works with local churches in more than 60 countries, training indigenous Christians to lead Bible studies. During 2008:

  • Scriptures Provided, 18,332,538

  • People Completing a Bible Study, 3,246,228

  • Bible Study Groups, 210,882

  • New Church Members/Baptisms, 479,758

  • New Churches Established, 3,905

  • Nationals Trained to Share God’s Word, 282,912

But our mission is not complete until those studying God’s Word are enfolded into the fellowship of His Church. Last year, 479,758 new Christians became church members as a result of Bible League ministry.

Many places in the world have no local churches, so we train Christians to establish new ones. In 2008, Bible League-trained Christians established 3,905 new worshiping congregations in previously church-less communities.

As your partnership with Bible League bears fruit in our overseas fields, Bible League will report numbers which represent transformed lives—the number of Scriptures you help provide, the number of new Christians joining local churches, and the number of new churches being established.
